You mean like the fact that OSU is a completely different team with Evan
Turner?  That game was a season saver for OSU in my opinion.  They could
have easily ended this week at 1-5 in the conference.  Who do we have that
can stop Turner?

 

Back to us, I believe that Tisdale and McCamey scored every point for us in
the second half.  This just isn’t going to work for much longer (like Jeanne
said..this Saturday for instance).  If this team is going to make the
tourney, they need at least some scoring from Paul and Davis.  That being
said, if there was some way we could go into East Lansing and steal one
it
would be a huge win for our resume and for the conference ramifications.

 

Anybody else having déjà vu when Tisdale missed the front end of that one
and one and Battle started down the floor?  Still, I’ll take Tis on the line
any day of the week.

Mike looks nervous and indecisive, no confidence; several times he
essentially rolled the ball to complete a pass or hand the ball off in
traffic. Passes up too many shots and the ones he did take were short and
had a low trajectory. I love the kid but Weber needs to sit the kid just to
clear his head. Once again we were pushed around. I hope Simpson is watching
from the weight room. On the bright side McCamey appears to have his head
glued on better. And, at least we're beating the teams we should. We may be
catching MSU in a little turbulence with their issues at point guard. OSU's
win at Purdue catch anyone else's attention?

It maybe time to just get  a couple days of shooting reps in to try to find
the confidence in their shots. Mike Davis and Brandon Paul continue to
struggle with their shots. Paul looked a little better, like he wasn't
fading as much, but Davis still looks uncomfortable shooting.

Eventually we are going to have to get scoring again from someone other than
McCamey and Tisdale.

The Illini win by the skin of their teeth 54 -53 over

PSU.  Christ I don't know which is going to fail first my nerves or my
heart.

Demetri and Tisdale carried the Illini in the second half.
