[Oskee] Hello NCAA

I tend to agree with Mike. We have definitely improved our NCAA prospects,
but we can't let up. If we were to go into a funk and lose another 4 or 5
games, we'll still be squarely on the bubble. The question that can't be
answered is how many at large bids will be eaten up by conference tourney
upsets. I'd rather not have to stay up late during championship week and
cheer for small conference favorites to beat an 16-14 no name team that
could steal a spot.

As for OSU...Turner is scary good off the dribble. And if the refs choose
to ignore that fact that he carries the ball constantly and travels on about
half his moves to the basket, we have no one, and I mean no one, that can
guard him. The key for beating OSU is to not let a role player have a
career night on top of Turner's usual performance.

I'm almost to the point where I believe this team may have finally turned
the corner and is ready to play ball...almost. A win against OSU this
weekend would remove the almost from that statement for me. We could end up
being like Syracuse a few years ago that went from the bubble to a 3 seed by
winning the big east tourney. If we can perform well down this tough
stretch of games, we'll have earned a decent seed and gained some serious
confidence.

Side topic: Is there a player in the country more important to his team
than DMac is to us right now? Wow...he has been something to watch the last
2 weeks.

NCAA should be a lock if we 1) win our home games and 2) beat Michigan.
But if we go 2-4 down the stretch we still will be on the bubble. I would
love to see 4-3, as it would be nearly impossible to keep us out then.
