Here's an update:

http://www.illinihq.com/news/mens_basketball/2009/03/17/fraziers_brother_theyre_going_to_have_to_handcuff_him_to_stop_him_from_playing/

I'll bet he tries to play, but I can't imagine how he'll be very effective. It's true he doesn't shoot a lot, but it's too risky, IMO. I think he'll get some token/inspirational minutes if needed, that's it.

I N I !!!

Well, of course there's nothign at all on the website about Chester -- has there been any local word at all about his status? I have to believe if he actually had surgery less than a week ago, there's simply no way he's going to be able play any more this season, unless by some miracle we made it past the first weekend without him, and even then his playing 2 weeks after surgery seems an extreme longshot. I can only imagine how miserable he is -- what an awful way to finish his career. I certainly hope the rest of the team is planning to play their guts out in his honor, particularly McCamey, who's had effort issues in the past. If he doesn't, I hope Chester decides to see how far he can get his Orange shoes up McCamey's . . .

Like I said before, it's all gravy from here, but that was when I thought Chester was going to be out there enjoying it all. It's really time to leave it all on the floor and set the tone for all the young hotshots coming in...

I L L ! ! ! ! ! !
