Robert, you're right on the money with this.? Alex Legion and Illini Nation may be the subject of Psych 101 classes for years to come.? I bought into everything we as fans had speculated would happen with Alex's progression during this basketball season.? Reading?all that?was being predicted on the message boards, Alex was going to be our best player at this point.? Even the staff was talking about him being the best offensive player in practice.

Hard to run the motion with inconsistent guard play.

The big question next season will be whether the three guards coming in?will contribute immediately or do a lot of sitting on the pine.? The thing that helped the '05 squad was having Dee, Deron and Augie get big minutes as freshmen.? That was out?of necessity, but it paid off in the long run.??
