I was disappointed, too.  And a little surprised.  I thought the whole
reason Jeff wanted to walk on at U of I was to prove he could play at the D1
level.  And I thought he would get decent minutes with his defensive
intensity.  But it is nice to see a young person who knows the direction he
wants to pursue.  Let's face, Jeff doesn't need basketball, or any other
career for that matter, to be financially set.  I was glad to have him on
the team.  He seems like a great kid.  I think his leadership will be missed
as much as anything.
