Well, this is just speculation, but if we don't have Jordan, maybe Paul gets
called on a little sooner to bring the ball up, which seemed to work out
okay in the second half when we did it.

 

I think the biggest thing about the first half is that it just started
snowballing.  I've played in games like this.you get in a funk and can't do
anything right to save your life.  Dmac went out, the press turned us over a
few times, the guys look up and see a 15 point deficit, get a little scared
and tighten up even more.  If there's a good thing about being down so far,
it was that we played like we had nothing to lose (which we didn't).

 

What this game showed us is how good we CAN be when we play with focus and
intensity.  It also showed us how bad we can be when we don't.  I hope the
freshmen grew up a lot last night.

Too lazy to scroll up and see who posted this, but Jordan's stopping his
dribble and allowing himself to be trapped nearly every time down the court
almost led to my 3 1/2 year old son adding some four letter words to his
vocabulary.
