Its an unfortunate situation for Jamar and his family. Talent wise we'll miss him, but distraction wise it might be a relief for all parties involved.

PS I'm heading to State College for the 27th. Any suggestions on hotels close to the stadium would be greatly appreciated.> From: trsweet at ilstu.edu> To: oskee at heins.net> Subject: Re: [Oskee] Jamar Smith's probation to be revoked> Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2008 10:34:38 -0500> > Look at the time of the incident. 2:30am...like my dad always said, nothing good ever happens after midnight.> > Some are saying there is no proof Jamar was drinking. The article I read this morning said Jamar "admitted he had been drinking". If this is the case, then its almost certain his probation will be revoked. I'm all for second chances, but Jamar just used his. If I'm coach, I'm not waiting to "see what the facts are". Zook didn't wait...neither should Weber. It's time to get Jamar off the team. These are the kinds of headlines we don't need.> > TS> > _______________________________________________> Oskee mailing list> Oskee at heins.net> http://mail.perusion.com/mailman/listinfo/oskee
