We were down 2.  :(   It's too bad we had to burn two timeouts earlier trying to stop the bleeding.  In my opinion, Brock needs to be the one taking the last shot for this team.

Yes, and Randle is really prone to shutting his brain off and making poor decisions in the clutch (see many previous rants :-).  The bottom line is we really have no one to go to in that situation this year.  I forget, were we only down 2 at that point?  If so, I agree that driving would have been better, but if we were down 3, even if Randle had managed to make the shot and draw a foul, he almost certainly would have missed the FT.  He might have been able to kick it back out to someone on the baseline for a 3 if we were down 3 (but I really seem to remember we were only down 2, which makes going for the 3 even more of a bonehead move).  Gee thanks, Chris, here I was trying to be nice to Randle for once and you drew me right back into the bashing! :-)

Yeah..not good, but with no timeouts and less than 10 seconds on the clock, I can see where panic might set in.  I was SO hoping he'd drive rather than rise up to shoot the j. Overall, I see hope on the horizon where a week ago things were at their bleakest.  Get the win against Meat chicken, first, then try to steal one on the road.

yeah, I really didn't watch the game until the end and I saw we were in striking distance.  My only issue with the game was wtf randle thinks he's a 3 pt shooter with the game on the line!!!!!!  what a horrible (and selfish) decision.

EVERY frigging loose ball down the stretch goes to IU.  Damn.  IMHO, the biggest play (of many huge plays) was when one of the Hos-yer guards tried to penetrate and dish and Pruitt got a hand on the ball, only to see it careen directly to another hose-yer on the wing, who calmly drains the three.  Randle skies for the rebound, only to come down on the baseline.  Randle skies for the rebound, an IU player flys in and knocks the ball out of his hands and out of bounds.  No zebra sees it, so the ball gets awarded to IU, somehow.  Kudos to Brock and Randle for a dynamite defensive effort against "he who shall not be named".  If they had only played this hard in every game... The ASU and OSU wins are looking better and better.
