[Oskee] Illini move up in BCS ranking...

The Sugar Bowl is almost certainly stuck with Hawaii so long as the Rainbow Warriors remain eligible for the BCS. The Sugar gets the last pick of the at large teams and no one wants Hawaii because they won't bring many fans or get good TV ratings.

I think our 2nd best option after the Rose would be the Fiesta.

And if that doesn't pan out, then we're back to the Capital One Bowl. Hard to imagine we'd possibly be "settling" for a New Year's Day in Orlando back when this season started!

The Rose Bowl would be great! Definitely better than
the Sugar Bowl. Have heard the Sugar Bowl is a possibility
for the Illini as well. But, given LSU is on the short list
of teams to play in the Sugar Bowl, I would like to avoid
this bowl at all cost! I, for one, would not like to see
this season end with another trip to an LSU home game in
New Orleans.
