Exactly...this is all gravy for the Illini.  However, let's wait until AFTER the game to visit the Playboy mansion this time.

I think we'll compete also, and recruiting-wise I'm not sure it matters.  If we lose big, we can point out our shortcomings to potential recruits.  If we compete closely, we can tell recruits that they're the final ingredient needed to get us over the hump, and if we win, we can invite them to get on board the band wagon!  OWW!!

Honestly, I'm not worried about matchups.  A chance to play in the Rose Bowl
is awesome.  That's not to say I don't think we will compete, because I
think we will.  I'd be more concerned about our guys lack of experience in
what's sure to be a media bedlam situation.  The game at OSU proves they can
play well on the road on the big stage, but USC's players do this every year
so they'll be much less distracted.
