Mizzou is not top 10, they are top 25 but not top 10. 

Of course we can still go to a bowl without beating them, what I meant was if we do beat them then I believe that will give this young team enough confidence that a bowl game becomes much more likely, not just possible. So I should have said "a good chance". I'll stick with my prediction that a bowl game isn't in the cards until next season. Too bad we don't play WIU first before Mizzou, I'd rather have a warmup game before that one.

I don't think we have to beat Mizzou to have a chance to go to a bowl
this year... they're expected to be top 10 material at this point and we don't
have to be able to beat every top 10 team we play to get to a bowl. =)

I think we have a real good chance to go into the conference opener 2-1 and
it's not a stretch to be able to win 3 conference games + ball state after
that.
