As most mail lists see it, that is: -- No HTML mail is allowed. Besides being improper email netiquette, it doubles the bandwidth used and destroys the digest. -- No pictures or other binaries, please. If you have something to share, put it on the web and post a link. If you don't have web-space, send it to webmaster@minivend.com with Oskee in the subject line. We will gladly put up your image, with the bonus that it will stay in the archive. -- No PGP signatures should be used. This is not a legal record. -- List messages are archived and placed on the web; if you worry about that, add the X-No-Archive header just like you would for DejaNews. -- No flame wars are tolerated. "Trolling" for flames, i.e. posting inflammatory material, is considered inappropriate. Also, the consensus is that one particular topic, namely Chief Illiniwek, is too controversial/emotional for the list. Please avoid bringing up the subject, even the most innocuous comments have sparked unproductive threads that frustrate those who join the list for its primary purpose. -- No "courtesy copies" unless specifically requested. It can be annoying to some people to receive two copies of the same message. -- The list changes the Reply-To: header to point to the list. While this is by popular demand, it is recognized that it is not always the best mode of operation. You should reply by email directly to the sender if the post will not be of general use. Above all, this is a fun list; we do not intend to be Nazis about conduct. If we remind you about netiquette, it is with a view to keeping this a vital, friendly, and fun list. GO ILLINI! Subscribing to Oskee
Subscribe to Oskee by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below.
